It can serve as an external lubricant for PVC, with its low viscosity helping to boost production speed. Additionally, it enhances the dispersion of pigments and extenders during mixing, making it particularly effective in extrusion processes involving high-viscosity systems. Moreover, using Fischer-Tropsch wax reduces the required dosage by 40–50% compared to conventional PE wax, yet still significantly improves the surface gloss of the final product. When working with highly concentrated colors, the molten Fischer-Tropsch wax effectively wets the dye particles, thereby reducing extrusion viscosity.
